INTRINSIC URBANISM

Urbanism is everything. Where ever we are in the world - the city, the village or the jungle - from the moment we get out of bed until we come back to the realm of dreams - the way we use and interact with spaces and people is all designed.

A truly holistic approach is required in designing human environments. One that focuses on ecosystems as much as on the individual, one that regards the culture as much as it considers the economy, one that uses art and creativity as much as it invests in infrastructure, and mostly, one that understands profoundly the different layers of human psychology as much as it works to establish agile and adaptable systems.

My practice starts from home, from our deepest needs and desires, and stretch out to explore communities, organisations and urban ecosystems that are complex beyond our present perspective.
